London Midland’s connections policy for the Abbey Line at Watford Junction is as follows:
The following evening peak services (Monday to Friday only) may be held for a maximum of 5 minutes to connect with a late running service from Euston:
- 1721 Watford Junction – St Albans Abbey
- 1811 Watford Junction – St Albans Abbey
- 1856 Watford Junction – St Albans Abbey
The last train of the day may be held for up to 5 minutes, provided that the line will be open throughout and the crew’s hours permit.
Special authority is given to hold other trains by the Duty Control Manager in London Midland Operations Control office in exceptional circumstances.
