“Last year, residents and organisations in the town were asked about their key transport priorities. Issues around the environment, congestion, road safety and lack of cycling infrastructure were frequently raised.
Feedback has been used to develop the draft Transforming Travel in Watford Strategy which is outlined on this website: www.futuretravelwatford.com. This sets out how Watford Borough Council and Hertfordshire County Council intend to address these challenges with specific actions www.futuretravelwatford.com/plans.
Watford Borough Council have now launched a formal consultation on the strategy and key actions and would like to hear from residents, visitors, businesses and stakeholders to refine these and create a final Strategy which truly reflects the needs of all. We would welcome your views on our proposals to transform travel in Watford, with the survey open until 13 October 2021. “
